In my research, I investigate the factors that drive individuals and communities toward sustainable and healthy choices in response to large-scale societal challenges. My work centers on developing
innovative methods, particularly using virtual reality, to promote and study pro-environmental and health behaviors that can contribute to a more sustainable future. My expertise lies in environmental psychology, environmental communication, behavior change interventions, randomized controlled trials, and virtual reality.

A significant part of my research examines sustainable food choices and their environmental impact. Through immersive virtual reality experiments, I've demonstrated how experience-based approaches
can increase plant-based food choices by allowing people to directly engage with future environmental consequences in the present moment.

 I am currently engaged in several projects exploring areas such as the factors that influence the adoption of new social conventions (social tipping), and the role of experiential communication in shaping efficacy beliefs and driving behavior change or the role of curiosity in opinion polarization. Since September 2024, I have been part of the project investigating the nature of curiosity in both
adults and children.
