Kort præsentation

I hold a PhD from Tilburg University’s Faculty of Law, where I researched the social security position of platform workers at both national and EU levels. After completing my doctorate, I joined the Legal Studies in Welfare and Market (WELMA) centre at the University of Copenhagen as a postdoctoral researcher. There, I worked on the WorkWel project, focusing on how digital platform work impacts labour regulation and social security systems, and how these developments call for a rethinking of the Welfare State’s foundational principles. Currently, at the Centre for Climate Change Law and Governance (CLIMA), my research explores how climate change is reshaping the social contract, with an emphasis on legal and institutional solutions for a just and sustainable transition.

Aktuel forskning

My research focuses on the intersection of social law, labour rights, and climate change governance. At the Centre for Climate Change Law and Governance (CLIMA), I am engaged in the EXPRESS2 project, where I explore how climate change reshapes the social contract, emphasizing legal and institutional solutions for a fair and sustainable transition.

In addition to this, I have a strong research interest in the impact of digital platform work on social security protection. This includes examining issues such as undeclared work and the social security implications of the EU Directive on improving working conditions in platform work.
