🧬 My work is centered in drug-gene interactions and the clinical manifestations of these. I work with large-scale registry data and try to understand differences in clinical outcomes through the lens of genetics. Currently, I have been focused on genetic determinants for drug-drug interactions, but I am also interested in adverse drug events and how these may better be predicted and prevented with a better understanding of the underlying biology.

🌳 Additionally, I work on reducing the material- and carbon footprint of scientific research. This means developing software tools for monitoring use of computational resources and trying different methods for making bioinformatic computations more efficient and less resource-intensive. 🎨 Scientific communication and visualisation is a central interest of mine. I am always thinking about better ways to tell scientific and data-driven stories and I actively work on creating the most scientifically, meaningful and aesthetically pleasing visualisations and illustrations.
