Lektor i tysk med forskning i tysk-danske kulturhistoriske relationer, også i et erindringskulturelt perspektiv. Arbejder desuden med tysk samtids- og migrationslitteratur samt økokritik.

Et andet fokusområde er fremmedsprogstilegnelse og tysk i det danske samfund og uddannelsessystem.
