My primary interests are in large-scale historical narratives and their interconnection with religious and esoteric traditions and discourses. With an emphasis on historical context and comparison, my research primarily explores how esoteric and spiritual traditions can be understood in established and mainstream narratives.

Aktuel forskning

Based on global intellectual history, my current research addresses the intersection of ideas between the Theosophical Society and the current of internationalism starting in the 19th century. It explores how this intersection created a common ground on which the Theosophical Society first approached the League of Nations and, during the late 1940s, applied for official recognition as a United Nations NGO.
