Sprogøe has previously worked as Chief Curator at Kunsthal Aarhus, Artistic director of Tranen, Artistic director of Copenhagen Photo Festival and has curated a number of performance commisions, and site- specific exhibitions is public space for Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Brandts Museum and Kunsthal Rønnebæksholm.

Sprogøe has also worked as a projectleader and mediator at SMK The Danish National Gallery and as Art Consultant at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.

Sprogøe has been researching international experimental curating for a number and has also work experience from PS1 center for contemporary art.
