Christina Jolan Fogarasi

Christina Fogarasi (she/her) is an Assistant Professor at the Dept. of English, Germanic and Romance Studies as well as at the Centre for Culture and the Mind. She earned her PhD in English from Cornell University in May 2023. Her research interests include trauma studies; disability studies; therapeutic culture; literary studies - contemporary anglophone novel; feminist theory. Her scholarship has been published in MELUS, New Literary History, Studies in American Fiction, and Modern Language Studies.  Her public-facing work has been featured in sites such as Los Angeles Review of Books and Public Books.
