My research focuses on the design of formulations for the oral delivery of peptides and proteins. I am investigating the biological effects and interactions of excipients and formulations with the different barriers along the oral administration route. It is crucial to fully take advantage of their properties to develop novel oral delivery systems with biomolecule absorption-enhancing properties.
