Elin Jørgensen is a postdoc at Costerton Biofilm Center. Her research focuses on developing and testing nebulised treatment against viral (including COVID-19) and bacterial airway infections. She is involved in all R&D processes from early testing, to toxicology testing, bridging preclinical to clinical data, designing FIH studies and CRO management.
Elin is a veterinarian (DVM) and has during her PhD developed an equine chronic wound model with biofilm infections and studied different wound types' response to bacterial inoculation and the presence of biofilm.
