My research explores modern and contemporary art and scholarly methodologies, with a particular focus on feminist and queer feminist perspectives. I currently hold a post doc position divided between the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies at Copenhagen University and the Division for Art History and Visual Studies at Lund University (Jan 2024 - Dec 2026). This project, titled "To show but not tell: on themes of passivity, submission, and internalization in 1970s Nordic feminist art", is founded by the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet). I hold a PhD from the Division of Art History and Visual Studies at Lund University and defended my doctoral dissertation "Portraying Unease: the Art and Politics of Uncomfortable Attachments" (Makadam Förlag) in 2022. My research interests include emotional responses to art, institutional theory, and genealogies of the study of modern and contemporary art.
