Aktuel forskning
My project focusses on the female germ line. In our lab, we are interested in the cause for aneuploidy and the pathways associated with ovarian ageing. I am interested in the underlying mechanisms leading to an abnormal chromosome content in female germ cells. During my PhD project I aim to gain in deeper insight in the connection between DNA damage response, meiotic recombination and germ cell development.
