Helle Kiellberg Larsen is a board-certified specialist in Dermatology and Venereology, and affiliated with the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Bispebjerg Hospital as a consultant. She graduated from the University of Aarhus as a medical doctor (MD) in 1998 and earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.d.) in 2020. Dr Kiellberg Larsen is an associate professor at The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen

Dr. Kiellberg Larsen´s research is primarily focused on HPV related anogenital diseases. Her areas of interest include anogenital warts and anogenial precancer lesions especially among immunosuppressed patients.  In her clinical work, Dr. Kiellberg Larsen is head of the Clinic for Sexually Transmitted Infections and the Clinic for anogenital skin diseases both at Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Bispebjeg Hospital. Dr Kiellberg Larsen primarily takes care of patients with sexually transmitted infections and patients with anogenital precancer lesions and anogenital diseases. She has expertise in high-resolution anoscopy, a screeningstool similar to colposcopy of the cervix for precancer lesions, but here in the anal canal and perianal area.

Dr. Kiellberg Larsen is a member of the International Anal Neoplasia Society (IANS) and The Danish Anal Cancer Group (DACG) and The Danish Penis Cancer Group (DaPeCa) both multidisciplinary cancer groups
