Jette Led Sørensen er professor i interprofessionel læring og ansat på Rigshospitalet i Juliane Marie Centeret. Arbejder med forskning og tværfaglig udannelse i Juliane Marie Centeret og Mary Elizabeths Hospital - Riget for børn, unge og gravide, Rigshospitalet. Er speciallæge i gynækologi og obstetrik og har en Master in Medical Education degree (MMEd) fra Dundee University, Scotland og en ph.d fra Maastrich University, Holland, begge med fokus på tværfaglig simulationsbaseret læring. 

Er studieleder for den Sundhedsfaglige Kandidatuddannelsen, Cand. Scient. San. ved Det Sundhedsvidenskabelige Fakultet, Københavns Universitet. Det er en kandidatuddannelse for akademisk opkvalificering af sygeplejersker, jordemødre, fysioterapeuter, ergoteraputer, bioanalytikere og andre med en mellemlang videregående sundhedsuddannelse.  

Forskning- og uddannelsesprojekter er aktuelt overvejende i tilknytning til Mary Elizabeths Hospital - Riget for børn unge og gravide. Særligt er der fokus på forskning omkring sundhedsprofessionelles uddannelse og kompetencer i alderssvarende kommunikation, leg som metode til kommunikation i sundhedsvæsenet, børne- og ungerettigheder, børn og unges patientoplevelser og -erfaringer, patientinvolvering, mobilisering af hospitalsindlagte børn og unge samt metoder til at vurdere mobilisering  og sammenhængende behandling af kritisk syge nyfødte og syge barslende. Heri indgår flere Ph.d.-projekter, der vil danne grundlag for konkrete interventioner, der vil blive arbejdet med i det kommende Mary Elizabeths Hospital - Riget for børn, unge og gravide.

RESEARCH AREAS :

Interprofessional education, curriculum development, simulation-based medical education, participatory learning methods, assessment of medical competence, implementation, evaluation.  

Currently working with development of an interprofessional curriculum for healthcare professionals in communication with children and adolescents in health care. Plus research focusing on promoting paediatric patient’s rights to participation in their own treatment and care in hospital. We focus on the active involvement and participation of children and adolescents perspectiveds and views on hospital experiences

Research methodology involving randomized trials, feasibility studies, literature reviews and meta-analysis, surveys, delphi studies, focusgroups and mixed methods.
