Mine primære forskningsinteresser er centreret omkring hvordan tidlige livsbetingelser påvirker sundhed og trivsel for fostre, børn og unge, og de epidemiologiske problemstillinger der er til stede, når dette udforskes.

Aktuel forskning

Co-Principal Investigator for 18-års opfølgningen i den danske nationale fødselskohorte - Bedre Sundhed I Generationer og Principal Investigator for EATus forskningsprojektet:Disordered EATing behaviors and eating disorders during adolescence - understanding severity, course and etiology - EATus.

Data fra den danske fødselskohorte og de landsdækkende registre udgør grundlaget for EATus forskningsprojektet. Jeg er yderligere involveret i andre forskningsprojekter, som også gør brug at disse datakilder, som omhandler at kortlægge hvilken betydning prænatal og tidlig liv eksponeringer har for mental helbreds- og neuroudviklingsrelaterede udfald blandt børn og unge.

Undervisnings- og vejledningsområder

Underviser præ- og postgraduate studerende i epidemiologi og reproduktiv epidemiologi.

Vejleder bachelorstuderende, kandidatstuderende og PhD-studerende.
