Mads P. Goddiksen is associate professor of research integrity at the Department of Food and Resource Economics. He has been at the department since 2017. He holds a master degree in philosophy and physics, and a PhD in science studies (philosophy of science).

Primære forskningsområder

His main research areas are research integrity and academic integrity with a particular focus on the grey areas between good practice and misconduct, and the possibility of enhancing research integrity through teaching and training. Recently he has published on topics such as students' use of GenAI, authorship attribution, responsible data management, and measuring the impact of research integrity training.   

Mads has also published more broadly within general philosophy of science and philosophy of interdisciplinarity.

Undervisnings- og vejledningsområder

He teaches and supervises on a broad range of topics related to methodology, ethics and risk. He coordinates the mandatory research integrity training for PhD student and academic staff at the Faculty of Science, and also contributes to philosophy of science courses.

Mulige interessekonflikter

Mads has, on a few occasions, received salary for lectures given at Danish universities and other public institutions (e.g. the Danish police). His research has benefitted from funding from the Danish Research Council and the European Union (through H2020). Currently, his position is largely funded through teaching, including courses on research integrity for PhD students.
