Kort præsentation

I am a qualitative health researcher exploring how people understand and experience their medicines, particularly in the context of mental health. My current work focuses on how we can improve conversations about antidepressants and anxiolytics at the community pharmacy counter.

As part of a wider project on medication-related communication in pharmacy settings, I lead a sub-study that investigates the lifeworlds of individuals living with depression and anxiety. Using unstructured interviews and participant-generated video diaries, I explore patients' perspectives, priorities, and lived experiences of medicine use.

My research aims to bring the voices of medicine users into practice-based conversations, helping pharmacists better understand the social and emotional dimensions of medication use. Ultimately, this work supports the development of more person-centred communication strategies that can foster trust, reduce stigma, and enhance mental health support within pharmacy settings.
