Poul Martin Bendix is an associate professor in Biophysics and is leading the Experimental Biophysics lab at the Niels Bohr Institute. His main research interests include biophysics and dynamics of cell surface structures and associated proteins. Also, he has worked extensively with interactions between light and nanoparticles with respect to both heating and trapping. He received the Young Investigator Award in 2011 from the Villum Foundation and in 2015 a Sapere Aude research leader grant from the Danish Council for Independent Research.
