Patrick Kapsch

I study the role of algorithmic systems in everyday media use and in broader societal contexts. My focus is on how different media users experience, make sense of and respond to algorithmic influences in daily life. In connection, my current research explores methodological techniques to better grasp the user/algorithm relation and engage people in reflections and actions to shape their knowledge and personal agency.
