In my Ph.D. project, I investigate the emotions of guilt and shame concerning environmental issues (‘eco-guilt’ and ‘eco-shame’). Here, I focus on the social and moral factors that influence the experience of these emotions. The project takes an interdisciplinary approach and mainly draws on literature from the sociology of emotions and social and moral philosophy.
