Aktuel forskning

Doctoral fellow in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie program OncoProTools, which seeks to advance cancer diagnosis and therapy. The objective of OncoProTools is to drive breakthroughs in cancer diagnosis and therapy by exploring innovative venues for protease targeting in CAR T cell therapy, discovering novel vectors that bind to other TME proteases: cathepsins S, B, L and granzyme B and personalize applications of protease targeting through deeper understanding of TME biology and minimally invasive, miniaturized diagnostics.

The aim of my project is to design and synthesize novel small-molecule-based FAP-specific TMs that allow for both UniCAR T-cell therapy and the simultaneous delivery of radioligands and chemotherapeutics. This will be achieved through the use of pretargeted approaches, specifically employing tetrazine ligation as a bioorthogonal reaction.
