Kort præsentation

Teis Hansen is Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Department of Food and Resource Economics, University of Copenhagen. He serves as Vicechair of the Scientific Committee of the European Environment Agency, and Editor-in-Chief of “Environmental Innovation and Societal Transitions”, the core journal within the field of transition studies. His research interests include sustainability transitions, innovation policy, and the geography of green industrial change. He focuses on how institutions, policy mixes, and place-based dynamics shape the development and adoption of sustainable technologies across sectors such as energy-intensive industry, maritime transport, and agri-food. His core aim is to understand and support the conditions for transformative change.

Currently, he leads the Green Transition Policy Centre and the project Science-based policies for a sustainable European agri-food and land use system.
