Abstract
Around the country in Denmark, new urban spaces are growing in small towns and villages - outdoors and indoors. They are often based on a strong local effort paired with municipal assistance and foundation grants. They provide space for new communities and contribute to rethinking places and their identity for the benefit of development in peripheral rural areas.
