N2 - Listeria monocytogenes meningitis in Danish children 1 month to 17 years from 2000 to 2017 was identified and patient files reviewed. There were 5 cases, equaling an annual incidence of 0.024 per 100,000 children or 0.014 when excluding 2 immunodeficient children. Even in a country with a high general incidence of listeriosis, Listeria meningitis is a rare event in healthy children.
