Abstract

The report outlines the histories and migrations of various non-Muslim groups from Muslim Asia –Jews from Aleppo; Sikhs, Hindus and Jews from Afghanistan; and Jews from central Asia – and charts how and where these histories have been remembered and recognised as valued forms of Muslim Asia’s heritage. Each section of the report concludes with policy recommendations for heritage organisations active within the settings where these minorities have historically resided.
