Abstract

Simple model calculations have been performed in relation to temperature changes in decompression experiments with Pomeranchuk cells, aiming at the production of spin polarized liquid **3He. Comparison with reported experiments indicates that thermal contact with the surroundings is too strong for our models to apply.
