Description

Climate-related displacement within the EU will bring its own challenges. Planned relocation, managed retreat and changing patterns of human mobility within and across EU member states are present day policy concerns not yet addressed through a consolidated and considered EU lens. The principle of solidarity provides the starting point for a tailored and effective EU response, but is not without its challenges.
