Description
With names like Kim Leine and Iben Mondrup, Danish literature about Greenland has become a big success. But what are the themes and perhaps even issues that Danish authors writing about Greenland are tackling today? How do they relate to Denmark as a former colonial power? And how do they describe the relationship between Denmark and Greenland? Emilie Dybdal will attempt to answer these questions in the talk "Danish Literature About Greenland" - Current Themes and Trends’. The talk focuses on new Danish literature, but also looks at older literature and Greenlandic literature. At the end, there will be time for questions and further conversation.
