Drottningholm Academy

Drottningholm Academy is a new platform for promoting interdisciplinary academic and artistic research focused on late eighteenth centurry performance practices. The two pillars of the platform are the specific historical frameworks of musical and theatrical practice during the Gustavian period in Sweden, and the corpus of more general philosophical and political issues that influenced stage performances of the time in other European centres.
