Power and Persuasion: The Role of Commonplaces in Western Europe is a research network funded by the Dutch Research Council as well as the Cultural Heritage Centre and the British Research Council. The project involves scholars from, primarily, the universities of Groningen, Durham and Copenhagen. It is crystallised in three workshops in Copenhagen (2006), Durham (2007) and Groningen (2008).
