Description
How are societies adjusting in this period of COVID-19? My talk in this panel is on the contribution of African scholars to anthropology and the challenges/opportunities that we face in this time of COVID-19. I talk about the need for African governments to invest in and embrace, online teaching. Additionally, I look at the possibility of totalitarian regimes using the pretext of the pandemic to disregard democratic processes.
