Description

The green transition is affecting all actors in the shipping industry. The conference focuses on the implementation of these initiatives at the contractual level, i.e. adaption of charter parties to comply with the EEXI (Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index) and the CII (Carbon Intensity Index) and the proposed extension of the EU Emission Trading System (ETS) to cover also the maritime sector. The conference also deals with derived issues on ocean carbon storage and contracts for the shipment of carbon.
