Description
The Exhibition Workshop Informal Publicness took place together with the second research exhibition on Public Space in European Social Housing: Democratic Publicness presented online at the third transnational workshop of the PUSH project 2-4 September 2020, where all academic partners met for the third time.Based on the third research exhibition, the workshop discussed three themes:
1. Democratic publicness: How do democracy and public spaces relate to each other in the investigated cases and which instances of publicness contribute to spaces’ democratic capacity?
2. Urban renewal: How have public spaces been renovated, upgraded, developed, or changed from their original design – particularly in ways that affect democratic publicness?
3. Visual representations of publicness
