Description

Poland is often highlighted as a key country when we talk about conflicts of values in the EU.

Values challenges - including Europe's strictest abortion laws, reluctance to agree a common recovery plan after the Corona crisis, and worrying trends to undermine the rule of law in the country - have pushed the values debate to the forefront of European cooperation.

We need to take a closer look at Poland as a member state and the internal conflict of values that is going on in the EU right now.
On the panel are; board member of the Danish/Polish Association and special consultant at Aalborg University Cæsar Szwebs, Member of the European Parliament for the Unity Party Nikolaj Villumsen and researcher at the University of Copenhagen Regitze Helene Rehling.

The host is Vibeke Loft-Magnussen.

We have taken our corona reservation and made the recording online. In this context, we apologize for the reduced sound quality.

The podcast has been produced with the support of the European Commission.
