Joined the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sport (NEXS) in July 2015. Previously worked at the University of Lincoln, University of Strathclyde (Glasgow) and studied at the University of Hull (PhD) Loughborough University (BSc hons and MSc) and the University of Leeds (MSc). Current Editor in Chief of the European Joural for Sport and Society, and Associate Editor of the Jounral of Aging and Physical Activity.

- Theme 1: The study of embodied experiences during physical activity, sport and exercise amongst several marginalised groups.
- Theme 2: Monitoring and evaluation of community-based physical activity and health and sports interventions, particularly at a European level.
