Short presentation

I joined the Brunak group in April 2018 as a research assistant. Here, I study health-to-disease transition in metabolically challenged individuals, such as type 2 diabetes patients. Using multi-omics integration, I investigate multiple layers of molecular data to discover patterns associated with disease history.

I hold a bachelor and master degree in Molecular Biomedicine from University of Copenhagen. During this time, I worked with Ass. Prof. Jonas Thue Treebak at NNF CBMR on NAD metabolism in relation to metabolic health.
