Personal profile

Short presentation

I am a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the research project CrisisCultureFood. The project aims to explore how Danish food culture and consumption are evolving in response to the climate crisis and the global inflation crisis.

In the summer of 2024, I completed my PhD, which was part of the research project “Food, Mobility and Housing in the Sustainable Transition of Everyday Life” at Department of Sociology, KU. The PhD project was a practice-theoretical, qualitative study of how young adults’ everyday consumption in relation to food, mobility, and housing is interconnected, with a focus on how this creates implications for transitioning  towards a less resource-intensive and thus more sustainable direction.

I specialize in sociology of everyday life, consumption, climate change and the environment. I work with qualitiative methods and theories of practice and pragmatic sociology.
