Research activity per year
I have been employed at University of Copenhagen since 2002, first as Teaching Assistant, Post.doc. and Assistant Professor, then as Associate Professor. From 2013-2018 I served as Professor (MSO = with special obligations) in Church History.
From 2023 I work on my monograph on "Modus loquendi. Word and Communication in Martin Luther", funded by the Carlsberg Foundation. Also, I have etablished Centre for Copenhagen Luther Research, a Centre that unites national and international Luther researchers in an interdisciplinary perspective, reaches out to students, doctoral students and produces impact, as well as serves as a point of departure for external funding applications.
From 2010-2013 I was PI of an interdisciplinary research project on "In-visibilis. Visibility and Transcendence in Religion, Art and Ethics", funded by the Carlsberg Foundation and the Independent Research Fund Denmark.
Between 2013-2018 I was coordinator of the Reformation Jubilee 2017 at the Faculty of Theology, UCPH. 2017-2023 I have acted as head of the Church History Section, Faculty of Theology, UCPH.
I defended my PhD-dissertation on "Latomus and Luther. The Debate: Is every Good Deed a Sin?" in 2002.
