Structural analysis of proteins in solution with a focus on the fibrillation porcess, leading to amyloids and amyloid-like structures. As part of the BioSAXS group, small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) is the main method applied to obtain structural information. Often omplementary analysis is required, ranging various biophysical techniques, but also e.g. transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and fibre diffraction.
