Our research focuses on the ecological interactions of wild vertebrates and eco-evolutionary relations between vertebrates and their gut microbes. In our projects we use a wide range of methodologies, including molecular tools (e.g. metagenomics, metabarcoding, whole genome sequencing, bayesian phylogenetics), spatial analyses (e.g. ENMs, GIS), fieldwork methods (e.g. mistnetting, trapping, sediment coring), captivity experimentation and bioinformatics (e.g. R, python).
