Dr. Aske Wulff Helge is a dedicated medical doctor and molecular biologist with a strong passion for education, research, and student advocacy. Completing a medical degree two semesters ahead of schedule, Dr. Helge demonstrated an exceptional commitment to academic excellence and leadership during their studies.

As a representative of 7,800 students at the Faculty of Health Sciences’ Academic Council and Senate, and as Chairman of SUNDrådet, Dr. Helge played a pivotal role in advocating for student interests and fostering a vibrant academic community. Their leadership experience underscores their ability to navigate complex institutional frameworks and drive meaningful change.

With over four years of university-level teaching experience, Dr. Helge has taught molecular biology extensively, along with anatomy and physiology, primarily to medical students. This diverse teaching portfolio reflects their commitment to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals and scientists.

Dr. Helge has also cultivated a robust research background, working as a research student assistant throughout their medical studies. Their hands-on experience, particularly in confocal microscopy, highlights their technical expertise and dedication to advancing biomedical science.

Currently serving as a junior doctor in the Capital Region of Denmark, Dr. Helge continues to combine clinical practice with their passion for science and education, contributing to the betterment of healthcare and medical knowledge.
