Betina Børresen is an assistant professor of veterinary and comparative oncology at the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

Background

Betina received her veterinary degree from University of Copenhagen in 2012. In 2017, she received her PhD in veterinary oncology focusing on molecular imaging and nanomedicine. She became a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary internal Medicine within the subspeciality of oncology in 2021. Betina’s main research interests are centered around using ”canine cancer patients as a model for the equivalent human disease” with a special focus on radiotherapy, immunotherapy and molecular imaging.
