Research interests

Analytical chemistry and analytical chemistry applied to the study of the fate and effects of chemicals in the environment. Portable instruments for monitoring of organic compounds.

5 Ph.D. students and 80 Ms.S. students.

  

Teaching experience:

Theoretical and practical courses in analytical chemistry including statistics and quality control at all levels. Basic environmental chemistry.

2006-:        Member of the board of the research school RECETO 

1990-93:     Planning and co-ordination as well as development of new courses in analytical and environmental chemistry in relation to the B.Sc. education in environmental chemistry.

1989-93:     Member of the Board of Education in Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry, University of Copenhagen.

1986-89:     Head of the Department of General and Organic Chemistry.
