My research is within applied microeconometrics, where I work with consumer behavior and limited self-control. In addition, I also work with non-parametric revealed preference methods on topics related to rationality in the applied (micro)economics literature. Furthermore, I like to dabble in data science methods and am particularly interested in network science. In my spare time, I play around with bibliometrics, natural language processing, and causal inference.
My teaching and supervision activities are primarily within econometrics and microeconomics. Currently, I'm the course coordinator of Introduction to Econometrics and sporadically host introductions to R and LaTeX (Overleaf). Previously, I've also participated in Forskerpraktik, where I worked with high-school students on the problem of limited self-control in consumer behavior.
