My research lies at the intersection of political psychology and comparative politics, with a particular focus on how identities and group belonging shape political attitudes and behavior. I investigate questions of nationalism and national identity, political tolerance, and discrimination against minorities, and my work spans both established democracies and post-conflict societies. In my teaching, I cover topics ranging from immigration and ethnic relations to quantitative methods and political sociology.
