Postdoc Carsten Haagen Nielsen is part of Cluster for Molecular Imaging (CMI) at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, UCPH.

CMI focuses on translational molecular imaging with PET and PET/MRI and on development of targeted radionuclide therapies (theranostics) for use in precision medicine in cancer, cardiovascular diseases and inflammatory disease.Read more about the Cluster for Molecular Imaging

In addition to his part-time position as postdoc at the University of Copenhagen, Carsten Haagen Nielsen is co-founder and CEO of Minerva Imaging that is a scientifically driven CRO founded in 2011 as a spin-off from the Department of Biomedical Sciences. CMI and Miverva Imaging collaborates on a variety of research projects with the aim of strengthening the development and use of molecular imaging methods for research and diagnostic purposes.
