Funding

FAOS is an employment relations research centre at the Department of Sociology, University of Copenhagen. FAOS is funded externally.  The funding of FAOS splits between a basic five-year basic grant and a running portfolio of individual projects. The current five-year grant (app. DKK 7,500.000/ EUR 1.000.000 p.a.) consists of donations from the largest employers’ organisations and trade unions as well as the Danish Ministry of Employment. In addition, FAOS receives project-based funding from the Independent Research Fund Denmark, the EU, other research funds, and social partners.
