Personal profile

Short presentation

My research is on quantum information and computation. I am interested on how to characterize and quantify noise in quantum systems and how it boosts or limits our capability of performing certain information processing or computational tasks. Moreover, I am interested on algorithms for convex optimization inspired by quantum mechanics. Lately I have also been working on tensor networks.
