Personal profile

Short presentation

My two main academic, and activist, interests are environmental justice and feminist(s) studies. My PhD research, seeking to be located within these two areas, examines the iconic anti-mining movement in Esquel, Argentina, using a feminist political ecology lens.

I have previously worked in related themes through my master's dissertation, Soybeans, Development, and Violence: The Environmental Resistance of Mayan Women and Men in Hopelchen, Campeche, Mexico (2018, University of Oxford).

Key interests: feminist political ecology, social movements, extractivism, environmental justice, Latin America, gender and development
