Short presentation

Office hours: Thursdays 12:00-13:00

I am a developmental social cognitive scientist. I study with behavioral (eye-tracking, looking time, interactive studies) and neuroimaging (mainly EEG), the cognitive mechanisms contributing to the highly social nature of humans, how these develop early on, their interactions with different domains such as perception and memory, and how and whether they show continuity into adulthood. I am particularly drawn to developmental questions in ontogeny as well as phylogeny, because it enables us to address the nature, foundation, and emergence of the phenomena we know about ourselves as human adults.
