Personal profile

Short presentation

My research interests lie within the interactions between ecosystems and climate. As part of the Global Wetland Center, my work specifically focuses on the biogeochemical processes governing greenhouse gas emissions from wetlands and how these processes can be represented in models. Currently, I am working on a model to simulate rewetted northern peatlands with the aim of investigating the long-term effects of rewetting on the greenhouse gas balance of these peatlands.

Main research fields:
- Wetlands
- Modelling
- Biogeochemical processes
- Greenhouse gas emissions
- Drainage and rewetting
